This calculator can be used to determine the centrifugal pump efficiency (effp) of a motor driven pump for a given motor KW, discharge pressure (Pd), suction pressure (Ps) flowrate (Q), and electric motor efficiency (effm). If you enter any five of these variables as inputs, the calculator will determine the sixth variable.
  1. All data is taken at the same pump conditions, i.e. flow, pressures, and speed.
  2. Electric motor efficiencies at full and partial loads are known.
  3. Viscosity correction for the pumped fluid is not required.
